Biography
Deogratias Tibanyendera is a public health specialist with over 24 years of experience in health systems strengthening, public health emergency preparedness, humanitarian response, and community development across Africa and Asia.
He is a PhD Candidate in Global Health and Health Systems at Euclid University.
His research “Strengthening Health Systems Preparedness and Resilience for Cross-Border Epidemic Threats in Uganda: Lessons from National and Global Evidence,” focuses on strengthening resilient health systems and improving preparedness for cross-border epidemic threats.
Deogratias holds a Master of Public Health (Emergency Preparedness and Response) from Euclid University, an MBA in Healthcare Management from Acacia University (USA), a Bachelor of Arts in Social Policy and Political Science from Makerere University. His research interests include global health, health systems strengthening, community health, epidemic preparedness and response and humanitarian health.
